Kicking it old school…with love…

It’s a rainy and very calm day here around Montreal today and I’m feeling old school. I find myself taking notes, digital ones that is, on my phone when I hear old songs and I just think they’re too good to forget and not download. Fully knowing that very few people in the world are that geeky when it comes down to music, I’ll save you the trouble of taking notes in a lounge instead of talking to your friends, and I’ll post a few of my favorite old school, down-tempo, love-making smoothies…smoothies of songs…with the extra whip-cream. Fedor Emelianenko is the best.

Well, we certainly are fans of MMA and we have to give credit where credit is due. Let’s take a quick musical break to give a big round of applause to Mr. Fedor Emelianenko. He is the most brutal and precise fighter out there. He reminds me of the Russian guy in Rocky IV…the one that should have won the fight. We all know Sylvester only one because he wrote the script. And then he screamed the name of his wife in front of all Russia…letting them know he casted the absolute ugliest wife/actress for a blockbuster movie.

C’était un secret de polichinelle que la plus québécoise des stations de la Nouvelle-Angleterre était convoitée par son actuel président et directeur général, Bill Stenger et ce plus particulièrement depuis le décès il y a 2 ans de son ami et président fondateur de Mont Saint-Sauveur International, Jacques Hébert. C’est maintenant chose faite, Jay Peak redevient entièrement propriété américaine. La transaction survenue à la fin du mois de mai a été rendue public aujourd’hui. Le montant de celle-ci n’a toutefois pas été révélé.

En se délestant de Jay Peak, MSSI devrait pouvoir mieux concentrer ses investissements dans la Vallée de St-Sauveur et en Outaouais. Déjà, une nouvelle remontée quadruple fixe avec tapis d’embarquement sera installée à la station amirale de St-Sauveur dès la saison prochaine.
